[Descrição sumária]Greyboard paper is a type of paperboard made from recycled paper, characterized by its versatility, relatively high thickness, and compactness. The raw materials for greyboard production are diverse, including waste paper, semi-chemical pulp, and semi-bleached pulp. Greyboard paper has a smooth and even surface, excellent stiffness, resistance to deformation and delamination, foldability, and offers the quality of high-grade paper at a mid-range price. There are six main parameters for greyboard paper: 1.Dimensional Specifications: For greyboard paper, dimensions are an important quality indicator, with allowable dimensional deviations not exceeding ±3mm. Additionally, the grain direction is crucial, typically termed as "grain long" for boards where the grain direction aligns with the length. For example, 787*1092mm denotes the grain direction is along the 1194mm side. 2.Basis Weight: Basis weight refers to the weight of paper per square meter. The standard deviation for basis weight in double-ply greyboard, single-ply greyboard, and even composite greyboard paper is typically within +3% to -5%. Products exceeding this range are considered non-compliant. 3.Ply Bond Strength: This refers to the strength of the bond between wet paper layers when subjected to external forces. Typically, the ply bond strength for greyboard paper should be ≥121. 4.Moisture Content: Moisture content indicates the water content within greyboard paper fibers. Generally, the standard moisture content for single-ply and double-ply greyboard ranges from 8% to 10% for weights between 250g to 750g. For composite double-ply boards, it ranges from 9% to 15%, and for composite grey back whiteboard, it ranges from 10% to 16%. 5.Thickness: Thickness refers to the ability of greyboard paper to withstand pressure between its measuring surfaces. The direct measurement thickness tolerance for paperboard is typically ±0.05mm. 6.Skewness: Skewness refers to the maximum deviation of the diagonal of the paperboard, usually expressed in millimeters. According to requirements, skewness should not exceed ±3mm.
